Steelhead, unlike Salmon, can spawn many times in their lifetime and can make the trip from the Ocean to the Clearwater River Valley numerous times in their life.
Steelhead trout are considered one of the top five freshwater gamefish in North America. Unlike their freshwater counterpart, Steelhead can grow to a length of 45" and have the ability to accelerate to 25 mph in one second; they can put up a good fight at the end of your line and make for a great day of fishing.
